Do you think the younger years were harder... I mean like where I (and several others here) are right now?? I have literally been changing diapers every day for more than 6 years. I hate it !! I so look forward to the more independant days..

I asked a few different moms and they said it's different. They continued to say with each age comes different problems.
I guess I look at now and try to enjoy knowing they'll never be this age again. As frustrating as some days are I make the best of it. :dunno:

There are definitely benefits to the girls being a little more independent now but each season has its challenges.
The manual labour just changes. Instead of changing nappies and wiping drool and bottoms and all that lovely stuff, I have now become mum's taxi. I have to think about boys :guns: and deal with the girls as they try out their wings, sometimes wanting to be more independant than their ages etc etc. And sometimes the teenage sullenness and rudeness drives me insane. However, my kids on the whole are really good and pretty easy teenagers I think.
I guess when I think about it, the answer in my experience is Yes it does get easier, at least a little less constantly and physically labour demanding. There is certainly a bit more freedom now and it's not quite so labour intensive.
So hang in there, things do change and what you are going through now is just a season. Enjoy the good bits. The hugs, chats, closeness, games etc. This changes while they go through teenage years and assert their independence. Each season has its hard parts and its good bits.
