Title: Embarrasing kid behavior in church
Stringaling - April 18, 2007 04:31 PM (GMT)
Every year on Palm Sunday palm leaves and pussy willow branches are given out nd the children process around the church singing...And every year some preteen boy, after the service when everyone is still there, says something like this, very loudly: "I love the pussys!" Last year all I heard was a shout of "pussy!"
 BOYS!!!!

When our cat was just a little kitten, the kids kept calling it a pussy. So there running around chasing the kitten and hollering "here pussy, pussy!" Drove my husband NUTS!!!!!!!!! :haha:

I can't believe that happens in church and no one does anything about it. That's awful. I don't think it's funny at all. If my son did that in church he'd get a slap across his face.

When we first moved to Texas and I started learning Espanol, I learned that a certain word: panocha was a slang term for a certain portion of the female anatomy. I also learned that gato was the Spanish word for "cat". So, I put those two together and started referring to our cat as "panocha gato". My mother heard, and asked, so I told her - point blank - that it meant "pussy cat". Once she found out, I got my butt kicked... :cowboy:
