Have any of you ever made cake mix cookies? I found a recipe that calls for 2 eggs, 1/2 cup of oil and a box of cake mix. But they're not really chewy. I know there are a lot of variations on this one, so I'm wondering if any of you have had success with one that you could please share with me!

Oh gosh! I made some for Christmas, but I'll have to go back and dig for the recipe.

I had to make them today...I forgot to make them yesterday and my husband said I didn't love him anymore because I forgot. :string:

Well, I didn't have enough canola oil, so I had to use a little butter (4TBS) and they came out awesome!

1 box dark chocolate cake mix
2 eggs
1/2 cup oil (or 1/4 oil and 1/4 room temp butter)
some chocolate chips.

Bake at 350 degrees for about 12 minutes.

That sounds about like the recipe I used........ :thumbsup: :drool:

Made them tonight but instead of chocolate chips I used walnuts :drool:

Aren't they awesome? You can pretty much add whatever you want to them. If you use yellow cake mix, add chips and nuts, you have toll house cookies.

But trust me, stay away from the red velvet! Red cookies just don't work.
