The discussion over the pictures I posted of my family's vacation (well the one's of my wife in a bikini specifically) got me wondering.

Here is the Dove ad about beauty in different sizes.



What do you guys think? Should women that aren't a size 2 cover up more? If not, how can we encourage the women in our lives (wives, daughters) to feel beautiful regardless of their size compared to the Hollywood standard?

I see the beauty, I really do. But I also see a need for less flesh everywhere. No offense, but bikinis no longer turn me on. I find my wife sexier in a dress than in a swimsuit.

My wife says that there are limits to what should be in a two-piece. When we're at a water park and someone walks by with an "invisible" swimsuit - one that's covered with flesh - she will comment on it. Now, she's not a size 2 by any stretch of the imagination, but I find her to be incredibly sexy.

What I really find to be a turn-off is the tattoo on the lady to the far left.

So, in conclusion, my answer is yes and no. Thanks for asking.
