Title: Wetting the bed

AAARRRGH!!! :)

Tuesday night, well early morning around 4, Andie came in and told me she had wet the bed......sure enough, she did~

This morning at like 7, when she was due to wake up anyways, she did it again!

But both times, she had stopped herself, woken herself up and was able to go the rest of the way on the potty.

We just got home from our vacation on Tuesday, so I'm thinking this is due to the disruption in her routine, getting back into the routine at home, etc.

Have NEVER had a problem with bed-wetting before now......

What do you guys think?? :dunno:

Yup, it's what I think :) I think it happens wit kids, they git a bit stressed out of thins a lil tired, everthins up in the air an then sumthin like this happens. I chock this sorta thin up to "it happens", I'm sure it'll git better once she relaxes a bit an thins git back to normal an the like, I wouldn't worry to much bout it, but would put dwon some towels er plastic etc to protect the matress, sheets are easy to wash but matresses are a pain in the butt to try an wash... they jes don't fit in the washer machine :dunno:

Yeah, probably from all the recent drama, er...excitement. :P

Candace wet the bed a few weeks ago. I have no idea why. She'd never wet the bed before...:dunno:

Luckily I've got a waterproof mattress cover on the bed, so THAT'S not a problem....

I'm just going to really hold back on the liquids tonight, normally I don't really worry about it because this has never been a problem!

So, we'll see..........

We used to hold back on Kat's drinks an the like to when she was havin trouble... but for the longest time now she hadn't wet the bed that I know of, she's got a nice bladder, course it sounds when she does go like she's goin to put a hole in the pot wit the force she's got but she holds it all night an then goes in the mornins. Bet she's goin to have a fit years from now.. like 40 when she has a baby, goin to lose that ability no doubt....

So are dogs easier to potty train than kids or vice versa? I've potty trained many dogs... here's hoping kids are a bit easier!

Dogs 'mature' faster than kids. They're easier to train. Just put them in a corner and they won't soil their own home.

Kids - dagnabit. My oldest still has occasional issues (and she's eight!). But we withhold drinks from her, and most of the time we're OK.

She was probably 'pooped' from the trip! My oldest DS has wet the bed a total of 3X I think (he'll be 5 soon) and it's always been after a major party...like Christmas Eve/Christmas or NYs where he's stayed up late and had too much fun.
My youngest tends to wet the bed when he's getting sick...it's a signal almost. He pee's the entire bed up and I realize he's got a cold the following day

I have two official bedwetters. I mean like evdry night.. My oldest is growing out of it and it doesn't happen nearly as much and the fact that I wake up in the middle of the night to an alarm to take them both potty helps her. My boy, on the other hand... I am constatntly washing sheets. Tried pullups and goodnights...They leak and I have to wash the sheets anyway so I quit doing that...Neither my husband nor I wet the bed as kids, but both of mine do and I pray that the youngest doesn't. Three bedwetters would wear at my patience...
