I'm so frustrated with my sick kids...well, I'm not frustrated with my kids because it's not their fault. But I'm so frustrated with sickness!

Sean's got an earrache. I kept him home from school this morning because he looked like 10 miles of bad road. Well, now that his ear hurts I'll have to keep him home again tomorrow to take him to the pediatrician. Ever notice how this never happens during regular doctor's office hours? No, he starts complaining about it after 5 p.m., after the office closes! He just went back to school for three days after being home for 6 days with the stomach flu. Before that, he was home for a few days with pink eye. This poor kid has been whining since mid January!

Sarah only got the stomach bug last Thursday. I couldn't send her to school this morning because she was crying. She loves school. But her tummy felt weird and she was afraid of throwing up in school. She was crying because she loves school and doesn't want to miss it!

It's getting so bad, that when I called the school this morning the school secretary said "Oh no!" when I said hello.

I hear ya....I was cautiously optimistic, Andie WAS sickness-free for oh, maybe 3 or 4 weeks......now she's got this cold. :bored:

It really knocked her out yesterday and last night, she's improved alot today but NOW has that gross, croupy cough hanging on. Last time she had it, the cough lasted about a week & a half!

But all her friends have had it or DO have it, all the docs say it's just something going around & it has to run it's course....

My kids have been sick free all winter :cheeky: :bravo:
Until 2 weeks ago that is. Both got sick with a bad cold. The older one got over it in about 3 days (thanks to LYSOL :haha: , ZICAM, and Airborne) but my younger one is STILL sick. I took him to the pediatrician yesterday and he has a sinus infection :doh: so he's on antiobiotics.

My kids have been through the ringer this winter. But at this exact moment in time, no one in the house is sick. We'll see how long it lasts.

I tried to find one. Just found some teddy bear with a spoon...
