Title: Wooden Cutting Board

I've got this GREAT big heavy wooden cutting board, I've had it forever.
So.......what's the best way to clean it? :dunno:
I mean, I always wash it in hot water with anti-bacterial dish soap, scrub it with a dish brush....is that enough?
Should I spray it with a bleach/water mix once in awhile?
I've got a few of those plastic cutting boards, but I like this one so much better for some reason.....

Mom always had a wooden board and she just used hot water and soap. Cleaning it with vinegar and baking soda once in a while helps control the odours.

I found this:
Sanitize cutting boards from time-to-time with a mixture of one teaspoon of chlorine bleach to one quart of water. Flood the board with the mixture; let it stand a few minutes. Then, rinse completely with fresh water. For better food safety, sanitize washed cutting boards after using with raw meat, poultry, and seafood. This may be especially important for households with ill family members.
