And Steve Nash happens to be a Canadian hockey player who plays on Team Canada. Happy now?

We've been taking days off periodically all month--to make ornaments, decorate etc...Anneliese will still be schooling up until the friday before Christmas and resume a few days after... Almost finished with the Kndergarten Math book and I wnt to start her on first grade math come January, so we ain't stopping!

Go Homeschool! :team:

We were doing really good until both girls came down with the flu. My youngest has been sick since Tuesday, and my oldest since Wednesday. Both were running about a 101°F (39C?) Youngest is feeling better today, but still coughing. Oldest is still feverish. So, we missed three days this week. Next week, my wife will take one a day to work (assuming they're feeling better!) Then we're travelling the week after Christmas. Then Mamaw's coming down to take the kids with her for a week or so during January (it's the soonest she can get away from Grannie).

Our Christmas break started this past Wednesday and will likely continue until around the 15th of January with a few scattered days of instruction in-between.

That's awesome--I love the flexability of homeschooling!
