Has anyone ever heard of the Flat stanley Project??

I'm thinking of doing it for my kids as part of their cirriculum. Most of them are done by classrooms, but there are quite a few homeschool participants.

Sounds fun--what do you guys think?

We just established a pen-pal relationship with a girl overseas the same age as my daughter. Her mother works for the same company as my wife.

We are going to start our flat stanley this week. Today we will draw him and get him colored and cut out and pasted to some posterboard. I would like to know if any of you would be interested in hosting our stanley for a week or so. You know, take him with you and show him the sights, take pics of him there and maybe some with his host family. Email me the pics and send stanley back, maybe with a souvenier. I'm going to start a myspace to record stanley's travels and experiences. I will post the pics there and Stanley will write a blog about all the fun he's had..

Her'e a flat Stanley with a couple of TV personalites ...I hope ours can meet some famous people...

Some acquaintances have done somthing similar with mini stuffed animal sheep.
They don't write but they travel the world - those sheep...
