We are riding on this wonderful server for nearly free. A long-lost friend named GutterRat (where are you, bro?) pitched in a few bucks to make some questionable advertisements disappear. Other than that, we're not paying a dime for this wonderful forum.

So, when problems occur, we try to make the best of them. One of the recurring problems happens when people try to edit their sigs. It's happened to me numerous times. Recently, I've noticed it happening to others as well.

How do you avoid this? Best bet is to come up with a sig you like, copy it and save it on your local computer via Notepad. There's also a notepad in your Control Panel that you can use. I don't know what causes this problem, nor do I know how to fix it or recover from a catastrophic loss. But, taking these steps provides you with a backup you can use in case it all disappears.

Not necessarily. Squat had the error too and he's got a new sig...

Okay, I guess I'm NOT getting that "object event" one....I try to update my sig and get the little "!" that indicates "error on page" and can't even delete the stuff that's there now!! :wall:

Those are PHP errors. In non-geek terms, those are errors the coders haven't bargained for.

Andiesmama, I've reviewed the HTML code for your sig and took out a few unnecessary spaces. Try to edit it now.

still getting it BUT the line 65 error is gone, now it's just line 13 & line 40.....
