Have a hard time feeling sexy..Given my history of living with a pervert voyeuristic stepfather and the dysfunctional sexual issues within my own marriage...Sexiness is kind of a scary thing for me....

I'd be intrerested in whta you other "healthy" ladies think about it though...

I think this is a hard question to answer. I mean, it can depend on what's going on.

It could be a touch, look, or word from my DH. I love it when he sort of woos me all day.

Feeling sexy comes from feeling secure and comfortable with your spouse and feeling loved, valued, attractive. But no one can tell you how to achieve this feeling. For women, it's something so tied to our emotions and intellect, that it's not always easy to achieve.

For a long time, I could just have sex with my husband and enjoy it, but it almost felt like an obligation. Something that had to be done a couple of times a week. As we get older, as our relationship grows, our comfort level and love increases and it's less about obligation and more about intimacy. It's a catch 22. The more intimate you are with each other, the more intimacy you gain. Make sense?

Just a post to let you (cough, cough) ladies know I'm lurking.....

Weeeelllll, I was feeling particularly stressed out the other day with all kinds of crap going on and since the housework doesn't get done on it's OWN...I just stripped down to my bra and panties and turned up the furncae a couple degrees. To my amazement, not only was I becoming less-stressed, but feeling more sexed! :lol: Yep, gotta do that more often! :eyebrows:

And Lynn, I agree with what you've said, but I think that hubby just makes me feel more sexUAL....yanno? Doing my workout and housework in underclothes only just feels sexEE. ;)
