Title: It's About Time!

That my 8 year old learned to tell time! B) I know he was taught a little & probably not enough....in grades 1 & 2 but when we ask him what time it is at home...his answer is either WAY off or we get this...:dunno:. Our drilling didn't seem to get through to him, either. So, fine. Today he bugged and bugged for a digital watch. We'd bought him an analog watch in grade 1 but he quickly lost interest. So he now has his digital watch (we love the Dollar Store!) and his analog watch side by side on his arm and he tells US what time it is all day long! :bounce: It's getting annoying, but at least he's taking a real interest now in learning!

That's awsome! I got Sean a Sponge Bob learning watch. He refuses to wear it. But it's got a little paper clock in the box and he loves to change it to all different times and ask me what time it is.

Sorry - I just did the math. If 100°F = 37°C, then US$1.00 = C$0.37. Or is it the other way around?

LOL, I member years ago when I was up there, I rented a nice Ford pick up for a few days an the feller was sayin there was a deductible on the thin if I wrecked it, so I asked em how much an he said sumthin like 500.00, well my friend says to me, yeah but that's canyuck money right? An the guy said yep. So I says then I oughta jes total the thin so's you can git a new one seeins how it'd only cost me 200 bucks lol
But... I DID have a rude awakin when I went to England an it cost me an arm an a leg to buy anythin over there at all.
I bought a bunch of pc equipment while I was up there cause it didn't hardly cost me nuthin an I lied like a rug on the floor when they asked me if I was brinin anythin back heheheh
