Since we have an accountability thread, I figured we should have a progress thread! B)

I've been doing Belly Dancing Core Conditioning for 4 weeks, 3 times a week and have lost 3 inches around my waist and 5 1/2 around my hips! Not too sure about my weight since I don't have a scale. But I'm really feeling the muscles starting to tone up and feeling good physically in general! :clap: :booyah:

Hopefully I can keep it up and be fit for bikini season! :eyebrows: :tease:

I'm game....I'll post my results when I do my weigh-in on Monday...I take my measurements once a month, so Nov. 1, I'll be able to post inches lost in October... :booyah:

Mondays are my weigh-in days on Ediets, so I'll be able to post my weight loss here...

Weight dunno don't have a scall that goes to extra fat@$$.

Since the surger though I have lost a couple inches in my waistline, and I can now fit into a couple shirts comfortably that were a little tight (but wearable) when I bought them 5 years ago and have not been able to wear for the last 4 years.

Yep. I highly recommend it. I have more fun doing that than trying to motivate myself otherwise doing other workout on my own. Just pop in the DVD and do what they do! :shakeit:

My measurements are about the same. Which is good! Feeling less "marshmallowy" and feeling more muscles actually toning up. I've been hurting from my toes up to my shoulders since I've started this. No pain no gain, right? My posture is also improving and so is my balance. Now to get into drinking more water....I just can't seem to keep it up. I plan on trying a "grapefruit fast". Got this idea from The Way of the Belly book. Guess we'll see how it goes!

My weight remained the same at my weigh-in yesterday... :(

BUT last month I lost 2 pounds and a total of 4 inches!! :bounce:

Lost yet another inch! Weird, I only did 2 days of workout last week. Huh, musta been from the "extra HOUR workout" last night. :eyebrows: Talk about gettin' the shakes! :D

Anyhoo...stepped on mom's scale Saturday and I've lost FIVE pounds! B)

Measured today. I haven't lost OR gained anything this week! :blink: I think that's a good sign that everything seems to be steady...even as PMS is approaching!! On the days I don't do the dvd, I do certain moves off and on throughout the day.

So yay for me! :bounce: I think this calls for a pizza night as a reward! :drool:

I worked out every day last week (except for Monday), 30 min most days but Tuesday I did 45....plus 100+ crunches every day....no workout today because it'll be too busy, so I'll get some time in tomorrow.

I weighed this morning, weight staying steady which is a GOOD thing because AF is here AND I've been sneaking Chrismtas cookies..... :hmm:

I'm amazed....AF is here and although I FEEL bloated, the tape measure says I'm staying steady! :yikes: Gonna do another round of the dvd today yet so it'll be a 3 day workout this week.
I've noticed that my tummy seems to be working from the outside in. Still flabby in the middle, but toning up around the "outside" of the belly...lovehandles are slimming down, upper thighs have gone down.... Weird...my TARGET is the MIDDLE! Gotta keep working at it! :booyah:

I've cut down on a lot of pizza lately....

Yesterday I sucked in my gut BIG time and I measure 26 inches around my waist! That's my pre-pregger size! :shakeit:

Ok, here goes....I worked hard so do NOT laugh. The before pic was taken Jan. 7/06 for our first FHL Fitness Competition and the after pic, Dec. 27/06. I started the Belly Dancing program around September 14th...so it's been 3 months. I didn't think I'd ever post this particular before pic, but since there's progress....I'll share it.
I get extra credit for taking after pics so soon after Christmas holidays! B)

I've lost another inch!! :booyah: My consistent working out seems to be paying off! :stars:

Another thing I just noticed today, my upper arms are actually firming up with muscle! I could probably beat Squat in an arm wrestle! :D
