Title: Tell Him Or No?
Honey - December 6, 2005 02:54 PM (GMT)
Ok, I was in the storage room looking for the tripod because we'd like to do some family pictures at home here. I was going through things, you know like you have to when you're trying to FIND something....well, I came across a bag of Precious Moments boxes that I'd never seen before. I'm a Precious Moments collector. Obviously, these are my Christmas presents and all had been purchased by Avon. (I can tell by the hand-written receipt which was sticking out of the bag.) Lots of ladies where hubby works sell Avon, so it's pretty easy for him to shop for me. Thing is....we agreed NOT to buy each other gifts this year. I was kinda ticked that he bought me anniversary gifts (2 Precious Moments things) and now I stumble across these. Do I tell him now? Or wait til Christmas? :wall:

I'd do the same exact thing to Misty.... I say wait for Christmas....

YOU SNOOPER !!!
Of course he got you something, he's not STUPID
Honey - December 6, 2005 03:23 PM (GMT)
No, I did not snoop. I stumbled....BIG difference!
rasplundjr - December 6, 2005 03:27 PM (GMT)
well she can't really snoop if there weren't supposed to be any gifts now can she?
GutterRat - December 6, 2005 03:28 PM (GMT)
We always tell each other what we are getting each other. But I usually save one or two as a suuuuprise.

Your husband is just a victim of a trick that women have been playing on us men for centuries.
You see... the wife says, "Oh honey, you don't have to get me anything for Christams!"
Man #1 actually listens to his wife and gets her nothing. Then the wife gets upset and says, "You don't care about me! I was only testing you! If you really loved me, you would've gotten me something anyway!"
Man #2 (your husband) sees right through the intricate plot and understands that he's being tested. So he buys his wife a gift and proves that not even a cavalcade of wild horses can stop him from showering his wife with gifts of love.

I think it's sweet....I wouldn't say a word & then when he gives them to you act all suprised & embarrassed....
I'm sure you can think of a proper way to say "thank you".... :eyebrows:
Redguard - December 6, 2005 06:12 PM (GMT)
Yeah, if you really don't want to buy him something, then maybe you can give him some kind of intangible gift. You'll just have to do it before he gives you your Precious Moments gift.

What you should do is swipe one of the gifts he got for you - wrap it up - and give it to him!

I didn't see anything wrong with this. I'm married and my husband is really HOT!!! God gave me my libido.....

Of course there's nothing "wrong" with it...but whenever someone says "we had some fun.....they equate "fun" with "sex". Know what I mean? Not everyone has sex every night! :P Tho I wish sometimes I could too....my libido's higher than hubby's as well. ;)

Now when you said that "You had fun last night", I was thinking that you went out and played a enthusiastic game of tennis.
No not really, I was thinking of sex too.
I just wanted to write something.
I don't think this is something worth getting upset at, in fact look at this as an opportunity to get more stuff. You already have the stuff you found in the bag, now if you play your cards right....
