Title: A Man's Job

Yes, to all you men who are lurking around here....I got this idea from YOUR forum!

So ladies....what kinda job around the house do you consider to be your DH "job" or "domain"?

Mowing the lawn. Everthing else is pretty interchageable.

Taking out the trash! Taking care of the vehicles (he is afterall a mechanic). He does do most of the yard work but I do help from time to time. Everything in the house is pretty much my domain. He works hard enough providing for us so I feel taking care of the house is my job.

The car. Even when it's my car it's his car (lol), but then he knows about these kind of things. Cars confuse me.
I also wish he'd do the dishes after he cooks; it seems only fair.

He cooks? Lucky you! Yep, seems fair to me that you should do dishes then. :) I cook all the time and hubby still doesn't do dishes.....:sigh: One of these days....

No no, I think he should do the dishes after he cooks. I cook all the time and I always do my dishes, and he cooks stuff that's harder to wash up after (meat usually). Also he usually just cooks for himself.
But that is okay.

Mandy...my hubby is like that! I cook usually, and of course clean up afterwards...when my DH cooks, I clean up afterwards....

He's a good cook but tends to use every pot/pan in the house & leaves them all over the counter...:grump:

All trash duty and anything that causes one to get dirty -- everything else is up for grabs including the cars.

I mainly do things like invitations, thank you, Christmas cards, and physical correspondence.
