Other than that....hmmm....gave Michael Jordon a high five once...
My father put ceramic tile in Linda Carter's (Wonder Woman) pool.
I KNOW you guys must be impressed...

One of my classmates this semester is an older gentleman who has won some awards for his book of poetry, and is the editor of a magazine. He's here in South Korea because, well, he likes it here. He was in my Korean language class.
I am going to read his book someday...after I leave Korea and won't have to worry about bumping into him at the school. I read one of his poems and it was way too much like reading someone's diary.

Did a interview w/ Lawrence Taylor, Phil Simms & Iron Hayword - that as back in the day. My brother is a TV reporter & I got to go w/ him to a Bears vs. Giants game. I was a bit smaller at that time so I could squeeeeze betweent he reporters & get the microphone right in the face of the players. My brother would tell me questions to ask.
I asked LT a question about the game and he looked down at me and says, "Damn, you guys hiring young ones these jobs - how old are you kid?"
I replied, "13"
LT, "Well, ask away kid - I talk to these other old farts all day."
He then answered a string of about 5 questions before moving onto the other reporters... that was AWESOME!!!

Ran into BigCat Williams in the mall. He walked past me - I said, "Big Cat?". He turns and looks out from under his hat and says, "Shhh...wut up man?" - and signs an autograph for me. "Gotta run - later dog."
That was cool.

Few weeks ago my wife ran into Lance Briggs, Peanut Tillman, and Musin Mohammed (all players for THE Chicago Bears) in a Toys-R-us. Got their autographs for me on a football.

I met Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart from the Eurythmics and Joe DeMaggio when I was in high school.
In college, I bumped into Ian Asbury (The Cult) on purpose at a party. hee hee I had a friend who had an internship at Capital Records so I used to go to new band parties with her. I know I met other people, but I partied a little too much back then and can't really remember. I used to work for the family of two of the guys in The Misfits. I hung out with Jerry Only (just saw him at the bank a couple months ago too!) and his family a lot.
I met Chick Corea at the Blue Note in NYC. Really nice guy.
Bart Oats and Karl Nelson (I tried on his 1990 Super Bowl Ring) of the NY Giants (LT Era Giants) used to do trade show work for me.
I saw Sela Ward at a cafe on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. She smiled at me. Oh, they used to film Melrose Place on the beach where I used to live in CA. So we used to walk on the beach behind the houses while they were filming. We mostly saw people coming in and out of trailers.
I met Mr. T at my church last year. He sat in front of Tom and I. He met a member of our church while he was in the hospital. This church member, Frank had died the night before and out of respect for the family, and as a brother in Christ, he came and spoke at our church. He took a one hour drive in a cab just to get to our church. It was so not necessary, but so nice. He really made an impression on all of us.
Last month I went to a NY Giants game and met: Harry Carsons, Jeremy Shockey, Luke Petigout (very handsome in person and HUGE), Shaun O'Hara, Kareem McKenzie, Curtis Deloatch, Rich Seubert, Nick Grieson, and some coaches.
Oh, and there were other celebs at the game I saw at the gate, like Elisabeth Hasselbeck (she's a sister in Christ and married to their backup quarterback and a former Survivor:Australia contestant). She brought the Viewmaster (the show's producer with her). I also saw Rosa Blasi (from Lifetime's Strong Medicine).
I think that's it...

Let's see:
I met Triumph after a concert and got autographs. The bassist (Gil Moore) wouldn't sign my shirt but the other two would.
I met Leslie Nielsen (of "Airplane" and "Naked Gun" fame) after a live production of "Deathtrap" and got his autograph. He's as funny in person as he is on stage!
I met several Washington DC reps and senators during my wife's short-lived political career (She was running for City Council).
I met Max Lucado at his church in San Antonio.
I guess that's about it...

I've never met anyone 'really' famous... not personally.
But I did see one of my old high school classmates in that movie White Chicks.
