Think wecould get a "Rants" thread here? I would like to rant right now about my daughter walking in on us last night when she was supposed to be sleeping!!!!!! :grump:

and to add insult to injury, after my hub had talked to her about how he was "rubbung my back" ten minutes later my son pokes his head in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :wall: I made a decision then. You see, when we had the third child we had to give the only two bedrooms in our house to the kids and we had to take the living room and convert it to our bedroom. No more couch or living room furniture. All bedroom now. We hung a curtain as a door(suck as it does) becuse installing a door will affect resale value. Well screw resale value! I'll cross that bridgewhen I get to it! I want a dooooooooooooooooooooooooooorrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let's see....it might be more expensive to do, but what about a pocket door?? Those can still lock but it might not decrease the resale value....:dunno:

That's a good idea.. I don't know if it would work though, because the only placeit ould go is a load bearing wall and we can't really cut into it...What I amthinking is to put in one temporary,you know not fully framedout. Then when we are ready to move, we'll take it out,spackle and paint,and voila! no one could tell. But we'll see if it is possible. the opening is 42 inches and we'dhave to build it up a bit for a door to fit...

How about locking yourselves in the bathroom? Surely, there's a lock there? :unsure:

On a completely unrelated note, I'd just like to applaud you guys for still being able to have your intimate moments, despite the various struggles that you guys have been going through.

Well, since out living room is acting as our bedroom now, the only TV we have is in there, so NOPE! Not a chance!
