Title: Compliments

How well do you take compliments? Do you strut your stuff and show off how proud you are that someone noticed how good you look? Or do you wish they'd shut up and let the floor swallow you and you feel like you're gonna die from embarassment?

Someone complimented me today and I was like.... WHY do they DO that? Buncha freaks... hehe :P

I'm working on learning how to accept a compliment graciously. It's very hard.

I'm like Amy....I'm trying to accept compliments graciously, but they make me so uncomfortable it's hard for me. But then again, I feel it's rude of me to just brush off a compliment someone has taken the time to give me....so I try to swallow my embarassment & just say a simple, "Why, thank you!" and leave it at that...

It's hard....

Less of a strutter and more of a stutterer :P

I tell my daughter she should try to compliment at least one person everyday. It's something I've always tried to do so complimenting another has alway come easily to me. And yet, receiving a compliment is not always as easy.

Today one of my customers was so nice to me. She kept telling me how great my hair looked. Then she told me that I was a great Avon representative. Because of her professional position, it means a lot to me. So I felt like a goofball. Aww, shucks!
