I got my date for Surgery.

I go in for my prestest on June 6th, and I'm slated for Surgery on June 13th.

I'm getting bariatric gastric bypass done. I'm having the roux en y open procedure.

I'm freaking out a little.

I need to google that, I have no idea what's involved....but it doesn't sound fun!

Can they do it laproscopically (sp?)....what's your recovery time?

I juist got back from googling it. That's scary. We'll be praying for you. I hope everything goes smoothly and your surgeons are good. Try to not freak out. All surgical procedures are nerve racking. As soon as you can let us know how it went. How long will you get to stay off work for recouperaton?

One of my customers had this done a year ago in August. She lost 120 lbs. so far. She had a neighbor who had it done years ago who was very helpful to her, in guiding her on eating and whatnot afterwords. It seems like it's very helpful to speak to people who've done this before. Do you have anyone you can talk to Raspy?

And don't be nervous. This whole thing had to be approved by God before it was OKd by the insurance company. So rest in Him!
