Description: say anything...

I forgot I was cooking and now my house is full of smoke. It's dangerous to cook when you're sleep-deprived.

See, I would have made that face, but there are moths in my house. I didn't really want a moth for breakfast.

Honey - May 4, 2006 11:34 PM (GMT)
Ewwww! We have bees around here. Oh and lots of ladybugs! Ladybugs have ruled the roost. :|

Yuck! Ladybugs smell funny I think.
I don't mind bees because we used to have a few hives, but I run and hide from wasps.

Glad I'm not the only one, though my music tends to be just instrumental rather than strictly classical.

Right now though I turned off the music because it's raining outside :D

Mandy - May 5, 2006 04:42 PM (GMT)

One more exam to go, and then I need to write about ten pages, and then it's summertime!

I have some of those "Sounds of Nature" mp3's. This is usually a well-kept secret of mine, because a lot of people think I'm wierd because of it.

I like the Rainfall, Running River, and Beach Tide ones...

Something about the sound of water is really relaxing.

I have one song with rain in it---it's called "Eternal," and believe it or not it's by Evanescence.

I don't know if it's sigworthy, but it sure is TMI! And no, Ms. Lena, don't tell me more! :rolf:

That reminds me, though. We were driving down Ocean Drive in Corpus Christi taking my Aunt and Uncle to a really good seafood restaurant. My uncle had a bladder infection and was having problems holding his water. Well, needless to say, Ocean Dr. has a great view of Corpus Christi Bay - along the entire length! Uncle Dean was in pain the whole way down! And me, I'm pointing out the sprinklers...

How long has it been since anyone has jumped on a trampoline? I tell ya, #2s come pretty fast after jumping for 60 seconds!

A day at the lake also has me running to the ladies' room alot....when ya gotta go, ya gotta GO! :swoosh:

clayman - May 5, 2006 07:53 PM (GMT)
The last time I jumped on a trampoline was in 1984. Yepperz, 22 years ago. I was in a springboard diving class in college, and the coach wanted us to master flips on the trampoline before we got in the water. My first time, and I landed on my neck. It hurt sumthin fierce! When I could walk, I went straight to the registrar's office and dropped the class.

No trampolines since then, and - much to my wife's chagrin - I will not allow one in my yard, either. I don't want my kids getting hurt.

I know, I know. I'm a spoilsport. Well, at least I learned. :grump:

Yeah, spoil sport! :smack: Kids will never learn if they don't get hurt sometimes! :P

My sister broke her arm going over those stupid spring-box horses in gym class. Then a few years later we got the trampoline and I gave her a "boost" and she landed on the bars and cracked a couple ribs. Whoops! Didn't stop us, we still kept a-jumpin! :D

Mandy - May 5, 2006 07:58 PM (GMT)

The last time I jumped in a trampoline was last year with my friend's three kids
