HA! Yeah right, like I'll be able to do it! I may have a kiddo home every day after today....I don't have time to do all those exercises! :P I am, however...skipping. THAT is one thing enjoy and can do with the kids. B)

Any exercise, if done on a regular basis, will tone you after a month. How much? Well that really depends on where you start at. If you just haven't worked out in a few months, yeah you'll get in shape in a month. Haven't worked out in a decade, it is going to take a little longer.

Hey Deb...I just had an idea. Maybe you could post some of those exercises as our weekly challenge? A new idea for a few week right there! B)

What I'm finding is that everyone is unique. You have to do what is best for your life. Some have jobs, others are at home. Some go to the gym, some home or elsewhere. It really is all about what works for you.

After years of extremism, I'm now for the thought approach of SMALL changes over a long period of time. If you make tons of changes right off the bat, you're bound to "fall of the wagon", but if you make gradual changes that take maybe 1-3 yrs, they become healthy habits that you find you cannot live without and it's almost effortless.

I never have to worry about drinking ENOUGH water in reality because that's all I drink and I always carry a 1 liter bottle with me wherever I go. Eating healthy for me is the norm, rather than the except. Even if for a meal I deviate from my normal healthy eating, the next meal, I find, is me wanting to go back to my healthy eating. I now can't even go a whole day of unhealthy eating because THAT is no longer a habit. Healthy eating is a habit.

You need to give yourself time. Go with the flow. Stop comparing to someone else and keep praising and encouraging yourself that you're doing great.

My thing is I never deprive myself or put myself in a state of deprivation. If I want ice cream, I have it. I don't say, "Bad Doris for eating ice cream." I said, "mmm...that was yummy. I'm glad I got to enjoy it." Then, the next meal I eat my normal healthy stuff.

Believe me, this is someone who has gone through those MANY battles. Life just is too short.

I just wish I could get locked up for a couple of weeks with a personal trainer and some friends like they do on "biggest loser". That's what I need -- Lock the fridge and the snack cabinet and get your butt on that threadmill!!
