Ok....I need ideas. How are your bathrooms decorated? How about your kitchens?
I don't really have anything in our master bath....the walls are white with yellow trim. I'm thinking sunflowers, but somehow I don't think Ty would go for it.... B)
As for my kitchen, I've been holding off until we get our new countertops...which we'll have in a couple weeks!! :yippie: And, I was wanting to decorate in a "coffee" theme....you know, with the burnt oranges, hunter greens, browns, blacks....but I can't find anything along those lines. So how are YOUR kitchens decorated? I might steal some ideas....
Mine are plain and simple. No decorations. My house is very bland. I'd love to have a new house already! :pray:

We got new counters a couple of years ago. They are dark coloered-kind of black/gray.. We put up cobalt blue light fixtures and brushed silver colored handles on the cabinets. I made a white Roman shade with blue ribbon accents and we have a couple of blue and white pitchers on these little shelves as decorations. We still need to repaint the wall to a prettier white that has a slight greyish silver hue--to blend well with the counters.
The bathroom is painted lavender and we have a showercurtain with bamboo on it. OUr window has panes and on the top portion we put those little wall paper cut outs of dragonflies. On the bottom half I made a curtain that is flat, attached to the top and bottom of the movable part of the window, so that there is still natural light coming throughfrom the top where the dragonflies are, but the bottom is covered. The window is right beside the toilet, so it was important to keep it covered..Light green rugs on the floor and grayish lavendar tiles..
String....:lol: sounds like you & I have the same tastes! :D I think our granite top will be mainly a chocolate brown with flecks of gold/green in it....altho, depends on what kind of slabs they've got in stock to pick from. I'd like to do the brushed pewter handles & stuff in the kitchen, I think that would look good.
Our guest bath (Andie's bath) is done in dragonflies, too! :thumbsup: The walls were already painted a sagey green when we moved in, I found a shower curtain in purples & that green with leaves & dragonflies on it, towels to match.....I just need to find something for the walls in there.... :bored:
