Just finished it this afternoon, loved it. I read it in 4 days I think. If I didn't have kids and a husband to care for, I would have read it non-stop that first night. I loved it. I loved the details, the research... I thought it was really well written and enjoyed that it was in the first person, from Christ's perspective as a 7 year-old.
There are author's notes in the back that explain how Rice went from Vampires to Christ. I know some Christians questioned her sincerity. If you are one, you will be pleased to know that her research lead her right back to the Catholic Church she left as a young woman.
OK, so I give this book:

I haven't heard about this book.....from Christ's perspective when He was 7? Book report, please.... B)
Well, her plan is to chronicle the life of Christ, written in the first person. So this was the first installment. It ends the day they leave Jerusalem after the Passover celebration when Jesus was missing for those three days.
I really enjoyed this book. It helped me to understand historical events of the day as these events affected the Jews. I can't wait for the next installment.
I have a copy of this available on Book Mooch.
HMMMM...never heard of it. Sounds interesting...
