Title: Mcparty

Redguard - April 13, 2006 09:05 PM (GMT)
Rachel is turning 3 at the end of the month and we're giving her a McParty at McDonald's.

Tried to get one of those Party Rooms that take care of everything, but they were all booked. We're don't want to have people over because we're cleaning out in preparation of our move.

I remember having a McParty when I was a kid. Wife never had one, but she got a Chuck E Cheese party.

Rachel is too excited. She's already started telling her classmates who's invited and who's not. :| :screwy:

$8.99 per child will get you:

- Unlimited time in the McDonald's jungle gym
- Birthday Cake for all kids
- Happy Meal for all kids
- Loot back for all kids

Rachel has about 15 buddies at her daycare that we'll invite. Assuming 10 of them show up, that's a $90 birthday party... AT MCDONALDS.

Everyone wins. :)

Kat will be 5 next birthday. I have no doubt that she will have her own ideas of what she wants to do - afterall she was very specific about birthday number 4

That includes clean up as well?

Had one as a kid - haven't had one w/ the daughter.

Personally, I like the Chuck-E-Cheese.

McParty - something Mr. McG would do before he stopped drinking.

Or

McParty - a celebration with Dr. McDreamy from Gray's Anatomy.

That's what I was thinking when I saw the title to this thread. So no, never had a McParty at McDs. We always have two parties-one for kids, out of our house. And one for the family, at our house. I do not have all those yucky little boogers in my house. *shudder*

:haha: made me think of A2J's "decomposition" thread....

I think I went to ONE McParty when I was younger....it was fun, from what I remember!

They don't really do McParties around here....and last year was really the first time I invited friends of Andie's to her birthday, & that was only 2, so it wasn't too bad. And now that we've got a huge backyard, THAT'S where her parties will be from now on...this year we're doing a "garden" theme, I'm going to have pots & flowers for the girls to plant, little sun umbrellas, a pinata (maybe)....I don't really mind the mess or cleanup...I must be weird, I should put that in the "How Weird Are You?" thread... :screwy:

Went to a Chuck-E-Cheese for my Wife's oldest neice on her side.... I hated it... but I suspect it was more on the poor planning of my BIL and SIL than anything else... pluse I had terrible Hemrhoid flare up that day and had to go pick up our dog..... and got in a fight with Misty....

I suppose if I go with my kids and actually have a plan it'll be better....
