I cain't take er anymore!! In the last month.... le's jes count failures in th e last month that she has directly been responsible for! First the washermachine, then a fancy plate (of mine), then the air condition, then the tv, an now the coffee pot... AGIN! Thats the second time shes broke that pot! An this jes in the last month! Plus she broke the vacum belt, an had a problem wit the oven.. an I noticed the water pump on my pick up was leakin... cain't prove it, but I'm sure she had a hand in it!

I try desperatly NOT to keep a talley an its gotten so bad I'm actually forgittin the stuff she's broke since we got togeather... I cain't take it anymore.. instead of goin home like I was thinkin bout today, guess I better git another load jes to pay for everthin shes breakin!

But what sends me balistic is er response... "it's jes a freckin coffee pot"

Is this sumthin' employed spouses have against their working counter-parts? Kerense comes unglued on me like this quite a bit. She was driving and had a blow-out. Since I was in the car it was my fault. The dishwasher quit working and it was my fault (never mind the fact that we later found out the kids had stuck something in it - and she remembered it happened on her shift). The A/C quit 'cuz it's 10 years old, and it's my fault.

But, I gotta agree - it ain't jes a frickin' coffee pot! That may as well be gold!

I only said it was just a coffee pot to try and make Louis feel better that it would only take $20 to fix instead of $450 it took to fix the A/C.

I guess I've been a good girl because I haven't broken ANYthing in a looong time....B)

How can I be jealous.. I mean, she sleeps in a warm bed, showers er body clean, eats all day long, sleeps til nine, only has to worry bout gittin directions, fuel stops an writtin checks wit the money I make for er... an on top of it, breaks everthin which forces me to stay out longer to pay for it all.... hmmm... if I was given to conspiracies....... the day before we talked bout me goin to the house the tv crapped out.... then she magically borrows my brothers when it was learned I wasn't comin in... then today I tell er I'm goin to go ahead an come in... the coffee pot is maliciously an violently destroyed...................................... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

No fair--you gotta remember that women tend to be very clumsy when preggers..I broke a coffee pot with both of my first pregnancies(with my big ol' belly, actually--both times!) and expected to with the last one, but didn't. I was very proud :D

I say all accidents that happen while a woman is pregnant don't count! :coffee:

I was very clumsy just the first time around but never broke any coffee pots...ever. But still, clumsiness is to be expected.
