I'm posting this here rather than in "Pump It Up" because I think it's more of a girly thing!

I just found it on iVillage....it doesn't start until April 24th, it's a 6-week challenge...

Hi Debby & Everyone Else,

I already have been doing this for quite awhile now, except I go much further and deeper.

I've now begun doing EFT on a more regular basis...not quite daily but getting there. I also go to weekly EMDR therapy, to help get other things out of my system. Both these address the mind-body connection and breaking those negative cycles.

Yoga, I do once or twice a week. One is a meditative yoga.

Getting enough sleep, exercise, eating healthy are other mind body things.

I rarely watch TV or go to the movies, am very careful about the things I read, listen to on the radio, careful to the music I listen to, etc. I read a lot of inspirational, motivational, positive things on a daily basis.

The work environment I'm in is very negative, so when there is a lot of negativity, I feel this greatly. Not a whole lot I can do about that except leave my job. I am working at watching the words I use more, taking captive my thoughts,

I believe the words we use to identify ourselves is very important towards this. I don't think anyone should use negative type words and associate yourself and others with these. Many of us have very bad self-images and our self-talk is terrible. Our subconsciouses need to be reprogrammed with positive stuff, truth like that found in God's Word.

Also, if there are destructive, unhealthy relationships, you need to get rid of them. If you cannot, then stop enabling or allowing negative behaviors to be directed towards you.

There's probably more stuff I do, but these are the things that come to my mind.

Hope this helps,
Doris
