It was a fitting proposal....The couple who met on television in workout clothes, got engaged on television in workout clothes. On the morning of March 28th, on NBC's Today Show, Matt Hoover turned to his girlfriend and Biggest Loser castmate Suzy Preston and said, "Suzy has no idea our relationship is about to get a little closer." "You've seen me at my worst," he said, referring to those early days on The Biggest Loser ranch during season 2 when he weighed in at 340 lbs. "You've seen me changing. I want to keep changing. I want you to be by my side." "I had this made for you," he said, opening a black ring box and pulling out a stunning diamond engagement ring. "And if you'd like to have it, I'd like to give it to you and ask you to be my wife." With tears and hugs and kisses, it was a happy ending...or, actually, a happy beginning! |
