Description: It's time to traumatize the guys

Every women's forum has to have this poll :D

 Sure we do!

I voted pads. Heard too many negative things about tampons. Mind you, pads are what for 2 days, then it's panyliners for the rest of the other 2 days.

I use menstrual cups. Less painful than tampons, less yucky than pads, and not harmful to the environment. Plus the bleach in most of the paper products scares me.

Bleach?! Whoa! Where'd ya hear about that?

Nowhere in particular...I guess that would be something to do research on?
I don't see how else they could get the paper that white though.

I've heard something about bleach being in them, too....of course I don't have any link to show for it or anything...

That said, I use tampons!! lol

Hmmm, hadn't thought of that. But I don't feel comfortable with a thing "in there" for 4 days, yanno? Well, unless it's hubby...ok, TMI. Get my drift, here? :hehe:

Whoa! Wasn't expecting to read that....
:D

Actually I've forgotten about my menstrual cup more than once. Doesn't bother me.

I use pads. I've tried the tampons but they're really uncomfortable. I think each product carries some risk. Never heard about the bleach before but I know that tampons have warnings for toxic shock syndrome. Not sure what the risks are for the cup.

There really aren't any risks for the cups, as long as they get cleaned properly in between cycles.

Toxic shock syndrome was greatly exhagerated. So long as you limit how long you leave a tampon in, they're safe. I have no clue about the bleach thing. But I swear, you could think about stuff like this long enough to make you wanna be LOST on some island.
