I was clipping some palms to put on my dining room table, and as I was investigating this huge leaf for bugs, I fell down the step and nearly into the pool. The funny thing is (if there is any humor to it at all) when I stood back up, I was still holding the scissors and the palm leaf!!! You should see my knees! I am pretty banged up!!

What are you doing with the palm leaves? What kind of palm are you using? We've got a few around our house but I never thought to use them in a centerpiece..... :huh:

Gosh, I cannot tell you how long it has been since I have fallen down!!! At first I was like checking my bones to make sure I didn't break anything, and then I felt burning hot embarrassed even though no one could see me... ugh.. i am laughing my butt off now, but I assure you that my knees are royally jacked up!

Yes Debby we have a pool!!! And a spa!!! And a lake! Remember though, it isnt mine :( I am only leasing for a year! And we are certainly paying for it. The girls like it, I love it, and it is like a mini-vacation as soon as you step into the back yard. Really lush and tropical. You and Andie are more than welcome any time. My girls would LOVE to have Andie here (and you of course ;). Taylor has been begging me to find a little one to keep during the day so she can help. She is planning on doing the Babysitter Certification through Red Cross. .... anyway....

about the palms, I have no clue what they are. They are big, kind of look like elephant ears, and grow more "out" than "up". But I cut 2 big leaves, and used a hurricane candle vase. It looks very pretty. If I could find my camera cord I would take a picture.

Well, I know I'll be up in Orlando sometime this summer....I'm doing Discovery Cove for my birthday! :bounce: Altho Andie won't be with me.....I'm sure we can figure something out....

Sadly, we have not been to one single park since we moved here. i guess we will have plenty of time.

My door is always open! I will cook you some corned beef and cabbage :) LOL kidding of course.

Meanwhile, freezing my butt off in NJ...I'm also jealous!! Jealous of palm trees, that you guys could be outside in shorts, that you could fall into an open pool, etc. :tease:
