That's one of life's great mysteries!
ChittyBang6 - February 24, 2006 07:11 PM (GMT)
yeah...but in a house with only one bathroom and SIX people, it gets a little cramped at times!! although, some of our most wonderful memories come from the bathroom...i have to admit! :poop:
clayman - February 24, 2006 09:57 PM (GMT)
That's where I'm blessed. I stink it up so bad nobody wants to be around!
:poop: can be your friend.

OK, my turn...
WHY IS IT....
when you shave your underarms, there's ALWAYS one tiny little hair that refuses to let go? Thus ruining the smooth silky look you're going for.... :wall:

ChittyBang6 - February 25, 2006 01:05 AM (GMT)

i thought all was good (our light was burned out over the shower) until i got out and was putting my deoderant on and noticed that i missed a few here and there! aaaahhhh!! so frustrating!!!
clayman - February 25, 2006 01:25 AM (GMT)
That happens enough on my face. Shaved this morning, this afternoon I was pulling long hairs out of my chin. Ouch!

Stringaling - February 25, 2006 05:18 PM (GMT)
Why is it that no matter where my husband puts his house shoes, the baby finds them and chews on them?
ChittyBang6 - February 25, 2006 06:36 PM (GMT)
Why is it that my three year old daughter repeats herself over and over and over and over and over and over and over!!!!?????? aaaaahhhh!!!
4jacks - February 25, 2006 07:33 PM (GMT)
Why is it that my wife MUST always try to have a conversation with me while I'm sitting on the pot trying to do my crossword puzzle???

Yeah, my seven-year-old is teaching my two-and-a-half-year-old to do it...
Sarah - February 27, 2006 05:43 PM (GMT)
Kat's pretty good about not whining too much after I've acknowledged her request for something. Maybe it's it's because she knows she won't get what it is she wants if she keeps repeating herself  If she whines there's always a "delay" after I'm available as a "penalty" for driving me nuts repeating herself over and over.
ChittyBang6 - February 27, 2006 07:37 PM (GMT)
yeah...that worked with the first two kids....after the last two were born i gave up on it i think. there were more important things that i needed to keep my feet planted on, and unfortunately nagging mommy got put by the way-side. it IS getting a little better though. i started a rule that if they want my attention they come and hold my wrist w/o talking. that way, they aren't interrupting me and i still know they need me. then, when i am able/willing...i will address them and we can talk. that works out pretty good----especially if i have people over or i'm on the phone!!! also, we have taught our kids that it is a privilege (sp?) to be in the company of adults so they don't join in our "adult time" unless they are invited to. that's been helping a lot too!
andiesmama - February 27, 2006 08:24 PM (GMT)
That wrist idea sounds great...I need to work on something like that with Andie, the times when I'm on the phone are when she seems to "need" me the most!!
Addicted2~Jesus - February 27, 2006 09:17 PM (GMT)
Why is it....
That I can drink coffee, an then drink milk, an then drink coffee an there's no problem, but if I drink coffee wit milk in it I :puke: seriously, I cain't mix em before my belly, it's one of em mysteries :screwy:
ChittyBang6 - March 1, 2006 05:39 PM (GMT)
that's funny! i'm the complete opposite. i can put all the milk i want in my coffee, but if i drink milk by itself, uh oh....watch out! :)

Why is it that my husband seems to go through PMS at the same time I do?? :wall:
ChittyBang6 - March 3, 2006 04:09 PM (GMT)
no joke!!! that's my husband too!!! (and most the time HE'S WORSE THAN ME!!)
why is it that my husband drives 20 minutes away to fill up the tank w/ the cheapest gas, and then drives 20 minutes back??
andiesmama - March 6, 2006 06:36 PM (GMT)
Why is it that if there's a spill on the kitchen floor, it's inevitable that Andie will step in it before I can get it cleaned up????
Addicted2~Jesus - March 6, 2006 08:08 PM (GMT)
DWT
Why is it women think men have PMS?? When they clearly have PWS!
ChittyBang6 - March 6, 2006 08:52 PM (GMT)
why is it that i take 20 minutes to walk on the treadmill and then go eat a bag of chips and drink a pop right afterwards!!! :dunno: :wall:

Sod's law isn't it? Our daughter was dry at night for a year before we had the courage to ditch the night time diapers. No doubt though if we had ditched them just after she turned 2 when she started staying dry at night I would have had many sheets to change!
ChittyBang6 - March 7, 2006 04:44 PM (GMT)
yeah.....but my son is SEVEN!!!!!
