What are your favorite magazines and why?
Just trying to keep the book forum alive...even if it's not strictly about books...

A couple of parenting magazines, Good Housekeeping....and I devour the "junk" magazines you get, you know, like Lillian Vernon, etc, that has all kinds of stuff you don't need.... B)

Off Topic: Did you finish Cell yet?

Yes, a couple of days ago. I agree with you, it is REALLY good! It's not my favorite of his books, but then after the Dark Tower series not many books have a chance :D

Man - I used to read a lot of mags - Muscle & Fitness, Mens Health, World, Christianity Today, SI, ESPN....now... none.

Lack of time & lack of Money. Those things are expensive!!!

I get the magazine Parenting, but its cheap. Someday when I get rich :booyah: I want to get some of the cool nature magazines like "Nature" and "National Geographic" (Yes I know they show boobs) and stuff....

Other than that, I have gotten into reading library books. At the moment I am reading "Earthly Joys" by Phillippa Gregory, which is historical fiction. I also have read "Successful Parenting" by Dr. Sears in the last two weeks. My next item of business is to check out another fiction book, and a couple books on vaccinations. It should be interesting.

Forgot to list mine...
The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction
and once in awhile I'll pick up a science or psychology magazine if a specific article looks interesting.

Lately, I haven't been reading any magazines but the ones I get from Joyce Meyer and The Copeland's ministries. I also love to read Cooking Light. I let my subscription lapse for that one though.

I regularly read Flex, Outdoors, Backpacker, and Popular Mechanics. I've started reading these home and garden mags though as we get closer to buying a house.
