news guy just said taht we've beat last year's snow record with the snow we got over the weekend! We got 4.4 inches this year! Yeah baby! That's exactly twice last year's recrd of 2.2 inches! Go Tulsa! :bounce:

:gotcha:

Seriously thats all the snow you get? Must be the easy life then! We get more than that on average, and when I used to live in Minneapolis we would get several feet of snow at a time, and they would plow it into the river....

wow, I wish we only got 4" of snow a year. I remember a record breaking winter where we got 120" of snow. brrrrr

I wish we got "real" snow. The kids would like to actually play in the snow more than one day a year....

Tell me about it. We get snow very rarely (about once every seven years). Last year it snowed on Christmas Day. First ever recorded white Christmas in Houston history. Same day for the first ever recorded snowfall down A2J and Sarah's way. Now the kids expect snow on Christmas.

'Course, I don't miss shoveling the drive...

:gotcha:

we got a nice dusting of snow and then sleet fell on top of it! no fun! People here don't know how to drive on it--there were two fatal accodents over the weekend...

Kat's the same way! Christmas 2004 was the first one she can remember and of course the major thing she remembers is that it snowed! She was totally not digging that we didn't have snow this year and informs me that is must snow next Christmas.

Yeah, that's one good thing about it, but on the negative side.... you have to clean off your car every time you go to drive it, you have to shovel your drive way, your pants and socks get wet if its deep.... blah....
