Title: Thunderstorm!
Honey - February 16, 2006 08:43 PM (GMT)
I can't believe it...it's the middle of February and a thunderstorm is going on! Lightning and everything...
How is it out your way, Red?

Hasn't reached here yet. My desk faces a window... I see dark clouds but it's been gloomy all day. No rain. We got a lot of heavy wet snow though.

I'm jealous! I love thunderstorms. We get buckets of poison rain, but I haven't seen thunder and lightning here yet :(

love those storms--we are in a drought right now. we need the rain!!!
LynnMcG - February 17, 2006 12:46 AM (GMT)
We had thunder and lightening our weekend snowstorm. I love it when that happens.
Sarah - February 17, 2006 02:18 AM (GMT)
We could use a good thunderstorm! I think we've been in a drought for like 12 years or something now. Only prob is when we get them the power is guarenteed to go out!

Umm, folks? This is CANADA....we're not SUPPOSED to be having thunderstorms! We're supposed to have BLIZZARDS! Even those have been scarce this winter season...
Redguard - February 17, 2006 02:26 PM (GMT)
Lena,
We ended up getting thunder and (gasp!) lightning later into the evening.
I had to drive up to my sister's workplace late at night to drop off some stuff that she forgot at my place. Lot's of lightning while I was driving.

You big canadian wussies....
With all those polar bears up there, I wouldn't think a little bit of voltage would scare you chickens.

Just as I was falling asleep last night, there was this HUGE flash of lighting and thunder. :o
Today we have the bitter cold and high winds and some snow...more wintery weather. Schools are shut down north of us. But our school's still open.
LOL @ Squat...the one who will not come to Canada! "Wussie". HA!
Oh yeah, Squat...my sister and her family are headed your way come March break.

Yeah - and this is Houston's rainy season! And we've gotten like .5" (that's 1.27cm to you Canucks)!
so, we want the rain. Or melted snow.
