Do any of you do this? I was thinking about trying it next month, except I don't want to get pregnant this month.... so its a risk.... but my current form of birth control is really starting to bug me... :violin:

Wifey did it just before we had our 2nd. She did it so she would know when she was fertile - it worked. When we didn't want to get preggers - we didn't. When we did - we did. :)

Nice.... I like to hear that. We are thinking in the next 6 months might be the right time.... but wait at least another month and a half.... for purely selfish reasons. B) We are going to Disneyworld and I don't want to be pregnant because pregnant people cant ride the rides :boo:

I chart...kinda  I never remember to take my temperature, so I go by cervical fluid. I am trying to remember to take my temperature because I know it's much more reliable that way.
Anyway, six months so far and no surprises...

Well I'm too nervous.... plus my husband had a point... he says, what if then my period comes at an unexpected time, like on vacation? Right.... with the pill you know when you're having it.... but I haven't really had much experience with my "normal" cycles.... so I think I'll wait.

I'm working on learning my body's rhythyms, fluids, etc...kinda icky, but...I haven't yet gotten a basal thermometer, but i will soon...

I've been charting my basal temps since mid-Aug. It's given me great insights to my hormones, menstrual cycle. It also helps me to get more centered first thing in the morning. My normal habit before this was to jump out of bed and rush through my morning before heading out to work early.
Now, I wake up, reach over, grab the thermometer, put it in my mouth, take the temp...which takes a couple minutes. This is enough to not give me a heart attack waking up in the mornings.
I'm a chart/data person, so I love seeing the #s. Yeah, I'm sick and need help. LOL. :rolf:

I charted many many years before my hysto. It worked 100% for me. I knew when my period was coming, and when I was fertile. I don't believe in bc, but that is for a whole other thread.
There is software on the market that is absolutely free, that can aide in tracking your cycle. Most pregnancy sites link to the calendars.
Like Doris, I too am a numbers and data freak. Guess that is why I am an accountant.
