Title: Shiny Sink

andiesmama - December 1, 2005 10:17 PM (GMT)
Yes, I "kinda" do the flylady thing....as a matter of fact, I'm in the process of "shining my kitchen sink"....it's sitting there full of hot water & bleach.

Anyways, my question is....how can I get the waterspots off of the faucet & some even off the sink? The sink is stainless steel, aluminum, whatever....and the faucet is the regular metal faucet. But I think the people before us probably rarely if ever polished it, so it's all spotty, you know what I mean?

I tried regular glass cleaner, but it shines it for awhile then it goes right back to being spotty.... :grump: frustrating!

Any home remedies or tips?

Toothpaste. Works like a charm! Scrub it on with an old toothbrush, let it sit a bit, then scrub and wash off. Voila!

I use a Mr. Clean magic eraser on mine. Our water is awful, lots of lime and calcium so I have to do it all the time.
