Title: Weird Dream
Description: Yes, it was in color...

My wife leaves the house by 5:00 so she can get to her office (18 miles away) by 6. Sometimes I'm up to see her go.

In my dream, the kids and I were up to see her off in the morning (a bad thing - I wouldn't get my time on FHL). For some reason, Kristen (the two year old) was out back playing. I looked out the window and she had a gallon jar filled with water and teabags - yeah, for sun tea. She was holding the jar in one hand. I didn't want her to get hurt by broken glass, so I opened the door to let her in. She was soaked from rain. It was cold inside the house, but the rain was warm. I brought her in and started to dry her off. I told Kerense (who was standing by the sink) she should wait for the rain to stop before she went to work and she replied, "I'll wait in the car."

At that point, I walked back to the kitchen and my feet got wet. There were critters swimming in the kitchen. Near our stove, the floor was broken and there were colorful fish swimming among the 'rocks' - read: broken concrete. Water animals were playing along the edge of the kitchen.

I woke up. I mentioned my dream to my wife and she said, "I guess it means I'll go to work come hell or high water, eh?"

(in best sigmund freud voice) Ahhh.. the water in your dream represents sex. your daughter-being wet from the rain-is a product of that sex. Your wife wanting to wait in the car-where it is dry-means that you are afraid that she will not want sex. But you are in a house that is literally swimming with sex. You have many sexual frustrations....

It happens very rarely. I was waking up all night with weird dreams. That's the only one I remember. Maybe too much spaghetti with peas...

My little guy is fascinated with dreams. He'll ask me what I dreamt about the night before. Then when I ask him, it's this big, drawn out process. He'll say "Ummmmm..." then it'll start with a chocolate chip cookie. It might have eaten him or he ate it. Either way, we're always laughing when he's done telling us about his dream.
