After a 4 month merry-go-round with Sony, they are finally issuing me a full refund on my minidisc player which unexpectantly croaked in the spring. Now, before you bash me for you having a MD player in the first place, I would like to say that I researched it well and at the time, it was (I thought) the best option in my price range for my needs. I liked it for its removable memory, small size, super long battery life and TV/FM tuner. It was my second MD, the first proved it's heartiness when it survived multiple drops on to the concrete floor of my studio before finally developing a tiny playback issue.

Anyhoo, now that I'm going to be getting $200 back, I'm left to wonder if I should buy another MD or move on to something else. What do you guys have to play MP3s on (if anything)?

iPod - that's what I use - that's what I love.

iRiver MP3 players are really popular over here. I can't find the kind that I see all over the place on the North American site, so this one's in Korean (sorry): http://product.iriver.co.kr/ and click on N11. They're about $180.
I'm not sure of the brand of the one I have now and I'm too lazy to go look...it's kind of big and clunky though compared to that one.
