Title: Let's Pretend I'm Santa
LynnMcG - December 1, 2005 07:33 PM (GMT)
Tell me ladies, what would you like for Christmas this year?
:santa:
andiesmama - December 1, 2005 07:37 PM (GMT)
For real? Or is this wishful thinking.....
Honey - December 1, 2005 07:55 PM (GMT)
You're spamming us, aren't ya? I just know it! :P

Someone to pay off all our debt. A local good paying job for my hubby. A trip to England to see my family. Someone to watch our daughter for a couple nights so hubby and I can have some time to ourselves. That's my wish list :D So can I expect delivery of these Dec 25th?

Ladies, I did say let's PRETEND I'm santa.
Loosen up a bit Debby and Lena. What do you really want for Christmas?

Good answer!
But I'm not delivering on this. It does sound like some great stuff to pray for though!

:booyah: is this loose enough for ya'??
Ok...let's see...
1. My grandmother's health to continue to be well enough so she can move down here to FL & spend some more quality time with me & Andie
2. A nice lump sum of money so I can landscape our new house the way I really want...and for my MIL to take about a week off work to watch Andie while I do it!!
3. A new dining room set...I saw one at Rooms to Go that matches the new BR set we bought when we moved in...table/chairs AND the china cabinet/hutch...it's beautiful!!
4. To wake up one morning & find the great room miraculously painted, ready for us to hang pictures & be done with it...then we'll be able to finally finish the extra bedroom & have it be a BEDROOM rather than a junk room
Can Santa do all that? ;) If not, here's some easy stuff...
1. Concordance
2. PJs
3. Gift Certificates (Vickie Secret; Bath & Body Works; manicure; facial; massage)
4. Coffee/cafe themed "stuff" to decorate my kitchen
5. Cookbook by Rachel Ray
Thanks Santa!!

Ok, after shovelling through over a foot of snow this afternoon....I realized that I would really like....
A snowblower that works DURING the winter season. OR a paved heated driveway so we don't need to shovel. Extra super thick socks. My toes were ice cubes by the time I was done shovelling...I know I had more as I was shovelling but I think that's all for now! :D

Boots. I can't find the right pair of boots anywhere: knee high, black, leather, with a clunky heel. All I can find are stilletos :(
But since I doubt even Santa can find that, then I would like a candy cane :D It's not Christmas without candy canes.
andiesmama - December 3, 2005 12:43 PM (GMT)
BootsLike this? Or is the heel still too tall?
andiesmama - December 3, 2005 12:59 PM (GMT)
Wait...here's another one, is this one like what you had in mind?
Boots 2

This is a pretty neat site. I LOVE the boots they have pictured in the header, over boots. But I can't find them anywhere on the site!!

Those are all cute boots too :)
But the ones I'm looking for are more clunky overall...almost like a clog, I guess? I used to see them all over the place, but I guess they're not popular anymore. My feet are shaped funny, so the more streamlined boots don't fit.
But thanks for the links; those look like good sites.

Isn't this fun?? We've made it our goal to find Mandy her boots for Christmas!!
Here's another link...is it like a "wedge" heel?? I know these are suede, but...
Wedge Heel Boot

I LOVE these!
But I can't get new boots this year. I got a beautiful pair of Steve Madden boots last year that I hardly ever wear. The heels are HUGE and I'm such a dork, I just can't handle them!
Honey - December 5, 2005 12:20 AM (GMT)
I have leather 11/2 inch thick heeled boots and they are the coldest things to wear! I'm gonna get some real serious winter boots soon. I don't care how dorky they look.....WARMTH! I need WARMTH! :D
