I think I already mentioned ours was a week in Disneyland 2 years ago....
Our honeymoon wasn't that great....it was in LaJolla (SanDiego)...wifey forgot her diaphram and we seem to busy establishing the peckin' order for the rest of our lives during that week.

The only vacation we've ever had was our honeymoon 11 years ago. Went to Niagara Falls where it rained the whole time. We were just talking last night that we really need a second honeymoon. Got 11 months til the 12th anniversary...time to start saving!

agree....but what is there to do in Canada? Amish museums?
Doubt they'll let you in the US with your record of assult.

Our original plan for the honeymoon WAS to go to Arizona. Then he started to count all the pennies it would take.....and chickened out. :bored: We still wanna go.

The honeymoon was great, but too short. We went back for our 2nd honeymoon to the same place in 2001 (yes, we flew 6 weeks after 9/11!) and stayed for a week and it was awesome! :thumbsup:

This stinks...I just asked my DH and we can't think of one!
We took an Amtrack train from NY to CA for our "honeymoon" because we moved to CA 10 days after our wedding. That was ok...basically 3 days too long. That's the longest we've been away, alone.
I think we need a vacation!

We've only been away with each other once and that was to England in 2004. Not exactly a vacation though cos we were running all over the place trying to see all my family. More in the style of a business trip really :lol: Get in and out to see each relative. I'd love to go away with hubby just the two of us - maybe we can have a honeymoon for our 10th anniversary! Maybe if we start saving now :)

we didn't have a honeymoon, nad the only time we've ever gone away was for a couple of days just a few hours from here. I was 5 months preg wth my first at the time and I didn't feel too well...

St. Lucia... we went there on our 1st anniversary, and treated it as our honeymoon.
T'was the bomb. All inclusive... lotsa food, lotsa drinks, lotsa sun.

Our best 'vacation' was a weekend at a cabin in Wimberley - in the Texas Hill Country. It was beautiful! And we spent the whole weekend doing what married people do. Talking and ... :whistle:
It was the first time we'd been able to talk without me flying off the handle and screaming like a banshee 'cuz she made me mad.

I lived about an hour away from Colonial Williamsburg for a few years when I was a kid. It's an awesome place! On top of all of the neat history there (which is AMAZING!), there is also a Busch Gardens and Water Park about 10 minutes away. And of course, the resort strip of VA Beach is about an hour away, DC is about 3 hours away - it's a cool area!
